Kamala – The Kamala Police are actively searching for a group of foreign riders who broke through a checkpoint.
A dash cam video from a car behind the incident has gone viral on Thai social media this week. The footage shows a group of foreign riders arriving at the checkpoint. Police asked them to stop to check if they had legal driving licenses, as most of them were not wearing helmets. However, the riders ignored the request and sped away towards Patong.
The Kamala Police have stated that they are tracking down the riders and checking with motorbike rental operators for further information.
