Patong –
A Russian couple was arrested for theft at a shopping mall in Patong.
The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that earlier this week they were notified from a shop owner at a shopping mall on the Phra Baramee Road in Patong of the incident . They arrived at the shop to find a male and female Russian who were caught stealing by the shop owner, identified only as Ms. Anyarat.
She showed the CCTV footage at the shop to police proving that the couple was stealing from the shop. The Russian couple was taken to the Patong City Police Station to face charges of theft. The Phuket Express noted that the Patong Police did not release any further details about the couple and the incident as well as what they stole from the shop.
