Rider Dies After Motorbike Crash with Hit-and-Run Minivan in Phuket

Thalang- A motorbike rider has died following a collision with a hit-and-run minivan in Pa Klok.

The Thalang Police reported to the Phuket Express on Thursday, January 23rd, that they were notified of the accident on January 19th at 8:00 PM, near a U-turn in Baan Para, Pa Klok, Thalang.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the unidentified injured rider, who was later pronounced dead, near the damaged motorbike. Witnesses informed the police that they saw a minivan hitting the motorbike before speeding away.

The police are seeking assistance from any drivers who may have dash cam footage of the accident, as there is no CCTV footage available from the scene. Anyone with evidence is urged to contact the Thalang Police at 076-313919.
