Coin-hunting app Jagat has caused quite a commotion in Pattaya, with users reportedly trespassing in private areas, damaging tourist spots, and creating confusion among tourists.

Many users are interested in searching for coins. However there have been reports of some government and private property damage from their hunting. Some of the hunters have also caused public disturbances.

The Wichit Police inspected the area in question earlier this week where they found two male teenagers searching for coins. They have been warned about trespassing which may lead to fines up to 100,000 Baht or imprisonment for up to five years or both. Users may also have the risk of losing money and putting their personal data at risk.
