British Man Arrested in Kamala with Ketamine

Kamala –

A British man was arrested in Kamala with Ketamine seized.

The Kamala Police told the Phuket Express that earlier this week while they were patrolling in Kamala, they saw a foreign man riding a motorbike looking suspicious. He was asked to stop before police searched him. In Thailand, notes The Phuket Express, these random searches are legal, unlike many western countries.

Police found Ketamine on the suspect but the exact amount of ketamine was not released by police as well as further details about the British man. He was taken to the Kamala Police Station to face the charge of illegal possession of category 2 drugs with intent to sell.
