UPDATE: Arrest Warrants Issued for Two Russian Suspects Accused of Tying Up and Robbing Fellow Russian National in Phuket

Arrest warrants have been issued for two Russian suspects after a Russian victim was allegedly robbed and attacked by them at a hotel in Karon.

Our previous story:

A Russian was allegedly robbed by a Russian suspect at a luxury hotel in Karon on Monday morning (January 6th).

Now for the update:

The Karon Police informed the Phuket Express that the Phuket Provincial Court has issued arrest warrants for two Russian nationals.

The first suspect, Mr. Andrei Veselov, 37, is believed to be the mastermind. He entered Thailand on November 26th of last year, but there is no record of his departure or current address.

The second suspect, Mr. Dmitri, 36, allegedly robbed and attacked a victim at a hotel. He entered Thailand on Sunday, January 5th, and left for Dubai on Monday, January 6th. The Karon Police are actively searching for him.
