Phuket to Welcome More Than 400,000 Airport Visitors During the New Year

There will be more than 400,000 visitors at the Phuket International Airport during the new year, say Phuket International Airport officials.

Phuket International Airport Director Wanchai Tamod told the Phuket Express that from December 27th to January 2nd, 2025, there will be in total a scheduled 404,454 visitors from 2,492 flights arriving at the airport which will be about 57,779 visitors from 356 flights per day. Of those, 273,174 visitors will be from 1,516 international flights and 131,280 visitors will be from 976 domestic flights.

From December 25th, visitors who arrive at the airport received various Travel Gifts as souvenirs. Free parking spaces will be available in front of the airport from December 28th, 2024 to January 1st, 2025.
