Intoxicated Russian Injured After Alleged Attack by Bar Guards in Patong

Patong – An intoxicated Russian man sustained injuries after allegedly being attacked by security guards at a bar on Bangla Road in Patong.

The Patong Police reported to the Phuket Express that they were notified of the incident on Wednesday night, December 18th. Upon arrival, they found three bar guards, identified as Mr. Chalermphon, 30, Mr. Thammachak, 28, and Mr. Watcharaphon, 19.

The guards informed the police that the intoxicated foreign man had jumped and danced on the stage in the bar, attempting to interact with other customers who did not appreciate his actions. The security guards tried to escort the Russian man out of the bar, which led to a chaotic situation where both parties sustained injuries.

The injured man was identified by police as a 31-year-old Russian national. Authorities are still determining if any charges will be filed against those involved.
