Wanted Iranian Man Arrested at Phuket Airport

Phuket – On Tuesday, December 17th, Phuket Immigration officials arrested a 38-year-old Iranian man at the arrival international terminal of the Phuket International Airport.

The suspect is accused of compelling others to act or refrain from acting by putting them in fear of injury to life, body, liberty, reputation, or property, or by committing violence to force compliance.

The suspect was taken to Patong Police Station for further legal action. As of press time, the suspect had not released any statement. Phuket Immigration has not disclosed additional details about the suspect or the case.
