Chinese Fugitive for Murder Nabbed in Phuket

A Chinese fugitive allegedly involved in a murder was arrested at the Phuket International Airport.

Phuket Immigration told the Phuket Express that they were contacted by the Chinese Police about the suspect. The suspect, identified only as Mr. GUOFENG, Chinese national, had fled to China and had been headed to Phuket. He allegedly murdered his uncle during an argument.

At 10:00 P.M. on Friday (December 13th) Phuket Immigration arrested the suspect at the international arrival terminal at the Phuket airport.

The suspect will be processed and handed over to Chinese authorities to be deported back to China to face his legal charges.
