‘Bodyslam’ Concert for Radiation Oncology Center to be Held in Phuket

A ‘Bodyslam’ charity concert for the Vachira Phuket Hospital to build the Radiation Oncology Center will be held in Phuket.

The press conference was held on Monday (December 9th) led by the Phuket Governor Sophon Suwannarat. Joining him were the famous Thai singer ‘Toon Body Slam’ and the vice president committee of the Normklao Foundation Mr. Boon Yongsakun.

Governor Sophon said, “Phuket does not have any radiation oncology center at government hospitals for cancers radiation treatment. Patients in Phuket have to travel long distances to other government hospitals in nearby provinces such as Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat and Songkhla. The Radiation Oncology Center needs 290 million Baht which as of now the total amount of donations is at 64 million Baht.

Mr. Boon who is also leading the charity concert said, The concert will be held on Sunday March 9th, 2025 at the 4,000 seat gymnasium at Saphan Hin Public Park. Tickets are for different zones which are 5,000 Baht, 3,500 Baht, 3,000 Baht, 2,500 Baht and 1,000 Baht. Tickets will be available at 7-11 convenience stores and www.alltickets.com from December 20th, 2024 onward.”
