Marine Police Pickup Truck Slides into Sea on Samui Island

Surat Thani –

A pickup truck owned by the Samui Marine Police slid into the sea on Samui Island on Saturday (December 7th).

At 4:00 P.M. the Marine Police pickup truck was found half in the sea 15 meters from the land. Thai and foreign tourists were surprised to see this, to say the least. Witnesses said the marine police was pulling a jet ski with a wire rope from the sea at a bridge when the incident happened. They had pulled the hand brake of the pickup truck while pulling the jet-ski, however, in an evident brake failure, the pickup truck was pulled down into the sea instead.

It was unclear how the truck was later removed from the sea although many tourists found the incident humorous and took multiple photos.
