A drug suspect was arrested after he stole brand name shoes from a tourist at a hostel in Ao Nang, Mueang Krabi.
The Ao Nang Police told the Phuket Express that earlier this week they arrested the suspect, identified only as Mr. Phutthiphat, 45, from Bangkok. He was arrested at his friend’s home in Nong Talay, Mueang Krabi. He was taken to the Ao Nang Police Station.
Seized from him were 38 methamphetamine pills. He was tested positive for an illegal drug. He told police that he needed money to buy methamphetamine pills which he used five pills per day.
He was taken to the Ao Nang Police Station to face charges of night theft and illegal possession of category 1 drugs with intent to sell.
