We do national recaps in a separate article, this is only the top local stories in Phuket and nearby provinces.

A collision between a six-wheel truck and a ten-wheel truck resulted in damage to four vehicles in the Thep Krasattri area.
No injuries were reported.
2. A British man was arrested at the Phuket International Airport for 130 days of overstay.

An overstaying Malaysian man was arrested at the Phuket International Airport.
3. A chef was arrested after he robbed a mobile phone shop in Wichit.
He was a chef at the restaurant and he told police that he robbed the phone store because he needed money to pay for his debts.
4. An unidentified body was found near the sea at Saphan Hin in Phuket Town.
It has been later reported by the Kusoldharm Rescue Team that a female baby body was found nearby too. However there was still no update on the identifications.
5. A bull shark attack is being suspected to have injured a female German tourist in Takua Pa.

Warning signs about the possible threat of sharks have been placed in the nearby area.
6. Bophut police in Koh Samui received a report from a hotel staff member about a foreign tourist’s body found washed ashore at Chaweng Noi Beach.

It was first reported by witnesses who told police that the two of them being washed out by four meter waves into the sea.
