Two Foreigners Missing after Being Washed Away by Waves at Samui Viewpoint

Two foreigners have gone missing after being washed out by waves at the Samui Viewpoint on Friday (November 29th).

The Surat Thani Marine Police were notified of the incident near the viewpoint on a road in Bophut. Witnesses told police that a car was stopped near the viewpoint. A foreign couple got out from the car.

They walked to the viewpoint before being washed out by four meter waves into the sea. The search was launched by rescue divers and the Surat Thani Marine Police. There was a warning sign to be aware of ‘Road damage ahead’ notes The Phuket Express.
