Over One Hundred Medical Centers in Southern Thailand At Risk For Flooding

More than one hundred medical centers in the southern provinces are at risk for flooding.

Previous story:

In the southern provinces, the center has cautioned residents of heavy rains, flash floods, and landslides between November 27 and 30, with ten provinces expected to face intense downpours.

Now for the update:

Permanent Ministry of Public Health Doctor Opas Karnkawinpong told the press on Wednesday (November 27th) that twelve districts in four provinces in the south which are suffering from flooding include Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, and Songkhla.

There are in total 113 medical centers which includes three major hospitals, a medium sized hospital, 12 community hospitals, and 97 local medical centers. The Ministry of Public Health is preparing to be ready for flooding and assisting patients.
