Thalang – A 26-year-old stepfather was arrested after assaulting his one-year-old daughter and seven-year-old son in Sri Soonthorn, Phuket.
The Thalang Police reported to the Phuket Express that Ms. Thidarat, 28, from Phuket, came to the Thalang Police Station with her injured children, both suffering from bruises. She informed the police that her husband, Mr. Aphisak, had hit and slapped the children at their home.
Both children were taken to a hospital for a medical examination. During the investigation, police found that Mr. Aphisak was using illegal drugs. He was arrested at the house, where officers seized two methamphetamine pills.
Mr. Aphisak admitted to assaulting the children and was taken to the Thalang Police Station for further legal action.
