Foreign Tourist Reported Missing after Boat Capsized in Surat Thani

Surat Thani –
A French tourist has been reported missing after a long-tailed boat capsized at the Khao Sok National park in Baan Takhun.

The Baan Takhun Police told the Phuket Express that they were notified of the accident at 1:24 P.M. on Saturday (November 23rd) at the Ratcha Prapha Dam or locally known as the Chiao Lan Dam in Khao Phang.

There were in total 12 people on the boat who were a tour guide, a boat captain, and ten French tourists. Eleven of them were rescued while one of them was reported missing who is a male French national.

His name was withheld and this is a developing story.
