Belarusian Woman Breaks Both Legs after Falling From Hotel in Patong

An intoxicated Belarusian woman broke both legs after she fell from a fire ladder at a hotel in Patong on Friday morning (November 22nd). She had been locked out of her room and was trying to climb through the balcony via the fire ladder.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that they were notified of the incident at 4:00 A.M. at a hotel on the Na Nai Road. Police and rescue workers arrived at the back of the hotel and on the ground floor found the victim identified only as Miss Katsiaryna, 23, a Belarusian national. She had broken both legs but was still conscious.

She told police that she had come back from being out on Bangla Road and had forgot the key to her room. She decided to use the fire ladder to enter her room from a balcony on the second floor but due to being intoxicated she fell down and hit the ground. She was taken to the Patong Hospital.
