Eleven Gamblers Arrested in Thalang

Eleven local gamblers were arrested at a work camp in Sri Soonthorn on Tuesday (November 19th).

The Thalang Police told the Phuket Express that they raided a local gambling den where 11 gamblers were arrested. Police seized High-Low gambling items and 1,310 Baht in money. The Phuket Express noted that the names of those arrested were not released by police.

They were taken to the Thalang Police Station to face charges of joining in illegal gambling. One of them is facing an additional charge of operating illegal gambling. The raid came after police received complaints of the gambling from concerned citizens.
