Patong –

A cruise liner with more than 4,000 foreign tourists arrived in Patong on Monday morning (November 18th).

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that the cruise liner arrived at the Coral Bridge in Patong. Of those 4,000 foreign tourists, 1,148 of them are American tourists. About 2,000 tourists bought tour services for travelling in Phuket. Meanwhile, the other 2,000 tourists are self-travelling. The Phuket Express noted the cruise liner is the ‘Anthem of the Seas’ which is a Quantum-class cruise ship owned by Royal Caribbean International (RCI).

Many of the tourists were reportedly interested in shopping and nature and cultural activities and not nightlife, notes The Phuket Express.
