UPDATE: Suspect Arrested after Axe Attack in Chalong

A suspect was arrested and charged after he attacked a man with an axe in Chalong.

Our previous story:

The suspect, identified only as Mr. Thee, 37, used an axe to attack an unidentified male victim in Soi Khok Tanod on last weekend before he sped away.

Now for the update:

The Chalong Police told the Phuket Express that on Saturday (November 9th) they arrested a suspect identified only as Mr. Eakkachai, 41, from Song Khla on the Thep Krasattri Road side in Khao Lan, Sri Soonthorn, Thalang following an arrest warrant.

He was taken to the Chalong Police Station to face charges of attempted murder, theft, and carrying a weapon in public without proper reason. Eakkachai did not release any statement to the press.
