UPDATE: Missing Boat Crew Member Found Safe in Phuket

Phuket –

A boat crew member who was reported missing after falling from a fishing boat near Panwa Cape was found safe.

Our previous story:

An officer from the Phuket Fisheries Checkpoint notified the Royal Thai Navy that Mr. So, a 37-year-old Myanmar national, fell into the sea on Wednesday, November 6th.

Now for the update:

The Royal Thai Navy Third Area Command told the Phuket Express that at 5:00 P.M. on the same day the boat crew member was found safe.

He told officers that he was walking on the boat when he suddenly felt dizzy. He fell into the sea with his waterproof bag. He floated and got stuck at a remote small island before a long-tailed boat found him. He arrived home safely and has confirmed that he fell into the sea because of an accident.
