Migrant Worker Dies after Motorbike Crash in Rassada

Phuket –

A migrant worker died after a motorbike collison with a power pole on the Bypass Road in Rassada on Friday (November 8th).

The Phuket City Police were notified of the accident in the early morning on the Chaloem Phrakiat Rama 9 Road (Bypass Road). Emergency responders and the Phuket Express arrived at the scene and found some scratches on road barriers.

Nearby, they found the body of a man and inside his bag found a migrant worker card. Police did not reveal further personal details about him. One hundred meters away the rescue teams found the damaged motorbike. The power pole nearby was also found damaged. A helmet, which was totally crushed, was found at the scene.

At this stage, police believe that the rider was riding the motorbike at high speed before losing control of the vehicle. He allegedly crashed the motorbike into the power pole and barriers.
