Patong – A taxi motorbike rider in Patong was arrested after smacking another rider in Soi Saen Sabai following a road accident. The Patong Police informed the Phuket Express about the incident.
A video clip showing the taxi motorbike rider smacking another rider’s head went viral on social media earlier this week. The Patong Police tracked down the taxi motorbike rider and brought him to the Patong Police Station.
The rider was identified only as Mr. Patiwat. He admitted to the police that he was the person in the video clip. The incident occurred after both riders were involved in a road accident.
The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that Mr. Patiwat has been charged with assault.
