Teenager Injured after Knife Fight in Rassada

Phuket –

A male teenager has sustained injuries after a knife fight in Rassada on Friday (November 1st).

The Phuket City Police were notified of the incident at 1:30 A.M. near Wanich 1 Road. Police and emergency responders arrived at the scene near a local grocery and found blood stains on the ground.

Mr. Natthaphong, 19, last name withheld, had sustained injuries from slash wounds to his arm and shoulder. He was bleeding heavily but still conscious. His motorbike was found nearby. And he was rushed to a local hospital.

Local witnesses at the scene told police that there were about eight teenagers on motorbikes who chased after the injured man who was driving a motorbike with a female passenger. These teenagers attacked the injured man with a knife.

Mr. Natthaphong told police that he and those teenagers had a previous conflict but did not disclose the exact nature of the problem. The Phuket City Police said they are hunting for the suspects as of press time.
