A large sea turtle was found dead on Kamala Beach on Wednesday (October 23rd).

The Kamala Police was notified of the incident from a local in the early morning of Wednesday. A large sea turtle was found dead on the beach opposite the Ratchapracha Nukroh 36 School in Kamala. It was a female adult Olive Ridley sea turtle weighing about one hundred kilograms.

She will be taken to the Sireetarn Marine Endangered Animals Rescue Center to find out her exact cause of death.
