At Least 12.5 Million Baht Damages in Phuket Involved with Icon Group

At least 48 victims in Phuket have filed reports against The Icon Group with damages costing 12.5 million Baht.

On October 16th, 2024, Thai national media reported a major breakthrough in the investigation into The Icon Group, a large direct-sales company led by CEO Warathaphon “Boss Paul” Waratyaworrakul.

On October 17th, 2024, Thai national media reported that multiple victims had come forward to file complaints against The Icon Group, with total damages estimated at over billions of baht.

Now for the update:

The Phuket Provincial Police Commander Major General Sinlert Sukhum told the Phuket Express that the Royal Thai Police has ordered police in Thailand to follow up on the case since October 15th. There are in total 12 centers in Phuket police stations that have been set up specifically for victims to report in this case.

In the past three days until Friday (October 18th), there are at least 48 victims in Phuket who filed reports against The Icon Group. Most of them filed their reports at the Phuket City Station. The total cost of damages is at least 12,500,000 Baht.
