Pedestrian Injured After Getting Hit by a Taxi on a Crosswalk at the Phuket Airport

A pedestrian has sustained injuries after he was hit by a taxi car on a crosswalk at the Phuket International Airport.

The Sakoo Police told the Phuket Express that they were notified of the accident by an airport staffer on Monday (October 14th). They arrived at the scene to find the taxi car and the driver was identified by police only as Mr. Anukul, 34.

The injured man, identified only as Mr. Somnuek, 34, was found on the crosswalk near the international terminal. He was taken to a nearby hospital.

The Sakoo Police stated that the driver was reckless driving and is facing related charges.
