The Phuket Vegetarian Festival ended with a million fire crackers. The festival next year will be from October 21st to October 29th, 2025.
Friday night (October 11th) was the last night of the Phuket Vegetarian Festival 2024. Many Chinese Shrines held street processions to Saphan Hin in Phuket Town.
They held a ritual to send their gods back to heaven after the festival ended. Many people, both Thais and foreigners, waited to see the huge street processions along the roads with an estimated million fire crackers.
Next year, the Phuket Vegetarian Festival will be held from October 21st to October 29th.
