Three Men Arrested for Illegal Rock Blasting in Rawai

Chalong, Phuket – In a major crackdown on illegal construction activities, three men were arrested for unauthorized rock blasting in Rawai on Tuesday, October 8th.

The Phuket City District office received multiple complaints about illegal rock explosions in Soi Suan Wat. Acting on these complaints, officials conducted a raid at the reported location. Upon arrival, they found three men actively engaged in rock blasting using specialized equipment.

The suspects were immediately apprehended and taken to the Chalong Police Station. They face charges of possessing explosive equipment without permission and conducting rock blasting without the necessary authorization.

Authorities have emphasized the importance of adhering to legal procedures for construction activities to ensure public safety and environmental protection. Further investigations are underway to determine the full extent of the illegal operations.
