Heavy Rain in Kamala Causes Temporary Waterfall and Landslide – VIDEO

Kamala, Thailand– On Sunday, October 6th, heavy rain in Kamala led to a brief but spectacular waterfall, followed by a landslide that disrupted traffic on the Kamala-Patong Road.

The downpour, which lasted about an hour starting at noon, caused a significant amount of water to cascade down a hill, creating a temporary waterfall. This natural phenomenon, while beautiful, quickly turned hazardous as a large rock fell from the hill, blocking one lane of the road.

Local authorities, including the Kamala Traffic Police, promptly responded to the incident. They managed traffic and coordinated the removal of the rock using a backhoe. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and traffic returned to normal shortly after the rock was cleared.
