1. Thai national media reported that 7-Eleven rolled out a new service allowing customers to make payments via QR Code directly from banking apps, with no minimum spending requirement.
Customers can now pay directly from their bank accounts without needing a third-party app but only at limited trial locations.
2. Thai VietJet Air issued a statement addressing a bomb threat made on flight VZ961, which was carrying 121 passengers from Da Nang, Vietnam, to Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok.

Thai VietJet Air opted not to pursue legal action against the passenger, who was scheduled to leave the country and return to Poland.
3. President of the Tourism Council of Thailand (TCT), provided an update on the state of domestic tourism, revealing that it is still underperforming due to severe flooding across multiple provinces.

The floods have disrupted travel plans, with most locals choosing to stay put, while international tourists with pre-booked plans are continuing to visit.
4. The Thai Meteorological Department issued a weather advisory warning of unstable weather in upper Thailand from September 29th to October 3rd.

This will bring thunderstorms, gusty winds, and heavy rain to certain areas, withvery heavy rain expected in some parts of northern, central Thailand, including Bangkok and surrounding areas, as well as the east.
5. Mr. Sittichai Aranyakanon, the Assistant Secretary to the Bangkok Governor, along with relevant officials, surveyed areas of Bangkok after receiving complaints from the public about ongoing disorder.
