Patong –
Three suspects were arrested on the Bangla Road with 55 methamphetamine pills and crystal methamphetamine and eight rental motorbikes were seized.
The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that on Tuesday (September 10th) they arrested three male Thai suspects on the Bangla Road in Patong. They were found talking with a group of foreign tourists.
Seized from them were 55 methamphetamine pills and 4.79 grams of crystal methamphetamine. Police also seized eight motorbikes from a motorbike rental shop on the Nanai Road in Patong worth about 240,000 Baht. Those motorbikes were allegedly involved with illegal drug operations.
The suspects, who were not identified by name by police, were taken to the Patong Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of category 1 drugs with intent to sell.
