Rassada –
A driver has sustained injuries after he crashed his pickup truck into a restaurant and a power pole in Rassada on Monday (September 9th).
The Phuket City Police were notified of the accident on the Thep Krasattri Road in the Khuan Din Dang area. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the damaged pickup truck in front of the restaurant near the damaged power pole. An unidentified driver had sustained minor injuries.
Staffers from the Phuket Provincial Electricity Authorities were called to the scene and the damaged power pole was fixed. The Phuket Police have yet to identify legal charges against the pickup truck driver as well as the estimated cost of damages to both government and private property.
