Two Teenagers Died, Young Driver Injured in Thalang Pickup Truck Crash

Two teenagers have died while a young driver has sustained injuries after a pickup truck crashed in Sri Soonthorn on Friday early in the morning (September 6th).

The Thalang Police were notified of the accident at 3:00 A.M. on the Thep Krasattri Road southbound lane near the Sri Soonthorn Municipality. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the damaged pickup truck split off from its bed. A traffic road sign and a palm tree on the central reservation were also damaged.

The truck driver, identified only as Mr. Natthawut, 19, survived. His two passengers Mr. Nanthapong , 17, and Mr. Thanawat, 18, were pronounced dead at the Thalang Hospital.

Nathhawut told police that there was some water on the road before he lost control of the pickup truck.
