A 30 year-old male Saudi Arabian tourist drowned at Karon Beach.
The Karon Police told the Phuket Express that earlier this week they were notified that a body of a foreign man was found floating near Karon beach. They arrived at the beach to find the body of a 30 year old Saudi Arabian tourist.
Witnesses told police that the man went swimming before being washed out by waves. He had gone missing for almost two hours before his body was found.
His name and further specific details were not released by relevant Phuket authorities.
