Heavy Rain Causes Flooding in Thalang

Phuket –

Some areas of the Thalang district suffered from floods after heavy rain in the early morning of Monday (August 19th). The Phuket International Airport also warned of traffic delays in Thalang.

Some areas and roads were flooded such as the Airport- Mueang Mai Road opposite the Thalang Technical College, small roads near the airport, and in the Sri Soonthorn sub-district.

The Phuket International Airport also issued a warning for passengers to spare at least three hours on roads heading to the airport. However, water on the road surfaces quickly decreased after the rain stopped. Flights were not affected by the rain.
