Tragic Accident in Thalang: Fried Chicken Street Food Vendor Dies After Collision with Trailer Truck

Thalang, Phuket– A tragic accident occurred in the Mai Khao district early Wednesday morning, resulting in the death of a motorbike sidecar rider.

The Tha Chatchai Police reported to the Phuket Express that they were notified of the accident at 7:00 A.M. on August 14th. The incident took place on the southbound lane of Thep Krasattri Road, approximately 500 meters from the Phuket Checkpoint in the Tha Chatchai sub-district.

Upon arriving at the scene, police found the body of Mrs. Wannee Srisongkram, whose age was not disclosed, trapped under the front of the trailer truck. Nearby, the damaged motorbike sidecar was discovered. According to local witnesses, Mrs. Srisongkram was a fried chicken vendor.

The driver of the trailer truck has since presented himself to the Tha Chatchai Police. However, the police have not released any details about the driver and have yet to determine if any charges will be filed against him.

This incident is under investigation as authorities work to uncover the circumstances leading to this tragic event.
