Kata –
A body of an Asian female wearing a bikini was found on the Kata Beach on Wednesday (August 7th).
The Karon Police were notified of the discovery of the body from a lifeguard at 6:45 A.M. They arrived at the beach where red flags warning about no swimming were placed all around the area. The body of an Asian woman wearing a bikini was found face down on the sand. She was aged around 30-35 and 155 – 160 centimeters tall. No sign of any foul play was found on her corpse.
Police believe that the woman died at least two hours before her body was recovered. She was taken to a nearby hospital for identification. Police are also checking with hotels nearby to see if any guests were missing.
