Motorbike Delivery Rider Attacked After Refusing to Buy Illegal Drugs in Rawai – VIDEO

Chalong, Thailand – A mobile delivery application rider was brutally attacked in Rawai after declining an offer to purchase illegal drugs. The incident occurred near a seafood restaurant at Rawai Pier on Sunday, August 4th, at 5:07 A.M.

Victim: Mr. Teeradet Damthip, 22, sustained head injuries from slashed wounds during the assault.

According to Mr. Teeradet’s statement to the Chalong Police, he did not know the suspect. After finishing work, he was on his way home when the suspect approached him. The suspect offered him methamphetamine, which Mr. Teeradet declined, stating that he did not use drugs. In response, the suspect allegedly became aggressive, and his gang attacked Mr. Teeradet with a knife, causing the head injuries.

CCTV footage from nearby cameras captured the incident, showing approximately four teenagers involved in the attack. The police are actively searching for the suspects.
