Female Driver Survives After Her Minivan Plunges into Surat Thani Dam, Brake Failure Blamed – VIDEO

A female driver has survived after her minivan plunged into a famous dam in the Baan Takhun district.

The Baan Takhun Police were notified of the accident at 9:40 A.M. on Sunday (August 4th) at the Ratchaprapha Dam, also known as the Chiao Lan Dam in the Khao Phang sub-district.

The minivan driver was identified by police only as Ms. Chanathida, 39. She sustained only minor injuries.

She told police that she worked as a minivan taxi driver and dropped about 10 tourists at the pier before the minivan brakes malfunctioned.
