Four Teenagers Arrested for Motorbike Thefts in Kamala

Kamala, Thailand – Four teenage suspects have been apprehended by the Kamala Police after a series of motorbike thefts in the area. The arrests came following an investigation into a stolen motorbike reported on Tuesday, July 30th.

According to Kamala Police Chief Colonel Somsak Thongkleang, the authorities received a report about a parked motorbike being stolen from a roadside location. Utilizing CCTV footage, they successfully tracked down the suspects. On Thursday, August 1st, the police arrested four teenagers aged 15 to 17 in connection with the thefts.

During questioning, the suspects confessed to stealing not only the reported motorbike but also several others. Their modus operandi involved targeting unlocked bikes, removing license plates, and making modifications. The four individuals, whose names have been withheld due to their age, have been taken to the Kamala Police Station to face charges related to theft.

The stolen motorbikes are expected to be returned to their rightful owners once the legal proceedings are complete.
