Phuket Officials Hunts for Crocodile in Lagoon

Phuket –

The Phuket Fisheries Office is hunting for a crocodile which was spotted in a lagoon in Thalang.

A video clip and a photo of something similar to a crocodile in a lagoon went viral on social media on Wednesday (July 31st). The lagoon belongs to a private company near a golf course in Pa Khlok.

The Phuket Fisheries Office told the Phuket Express that they immediately inspected the lagoon after seeing the video and photos but they did not see a crocodile. They have yet to confirm if it is a Siamese Crocodile or a Saltwater Crocodile. It is about two meters long as estimated from a photo.

However, the lagoon has been blocked off to prevent people from getting near it for their safety while crocodile experts are hunting for the reptile.
