Overstay Crackdown in Phuket Leads to Arrest of Seven Foreigners

Phuket –

A Pakistani, Egyptians, Nigerians, and a Myanmar man were arrested in a Phuket overstay crackdown.

The Phuket Immigration Office told the Phuket Express that from July 23rd to August 1st, 2024 (10 days) they arrested seven foreigners in total for overstaying their legal visa.

1.MR.MUHAMMAD, Pakistani national (1,377 days overstay)

2.MR.HESHAM, Egyptian national (213 days overstay)

3.MR.MOUSTAFA, Egyptian national (204 days overstay)

4.MR.BRIGHT, Nigerian national (599 days overstay)

5.MR.ONYEANYA, Nigerian national, (118 days overstay)

6.MR.CHINEDU, Nigerian national (53 days overstay)

7.MR.MIN PAING, Myanmar (46 days overstay)

The Phuket Immigration Office told the Phuket Express that all seven men are facing charges of overstaying their legal visa.
