Patong –
An intoxicated man was arrested with a gun and bullets in Patong.
The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that earlier this week they arrested a Thai man identified only as Mr. Saranphon, 25, at a rental room in Soi Bang Ton Khao, on the Phra Baramee Road. Seized from him was a handmade handgun and bullets.
He also tested positive for methamphetamine. He was taken to the Patong Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition and using illegal drugs.
