One Person Dies, Five Others Injured after Pickup Truck Crashed into Motorbike in Thalang – VIDEO

One person has died and five people have been injured after a pickup truck crashed into a motorbike and a power pole near a market in the Thep Krasattri sub-district.

Emergency responders reported that they were notified of the accident on Friday morning (July 26th) on the Thep Krassattri Road near a U-turn at a market in Baan Mueang Mai. They arrived at the scene to find a damaged pickup truck had crashed into a power pole and a stall on the side of the road’s southbound lane. The damaged motorbike was found on the opposite side of the northbound lane.

Raw food was found scattered on the road. One person was pronounced dead, one person sustained moderate injuries, and four people sustained various lesser injuries. Their names were witheld by the Police.

The Thalang Police are continuing their investigation to find the exact cause of the accident. CCTV footage nearby shows that the motorbike crashed with the pickup truck before the pickup truck lost control and slammed into a power pole near the market.
