On July 24th, 2024, at 3:30 p.m., the Connect the Dot Phuket International Trade Fair “Phuket Health Expo” was officially opened at Lan Lom, 1st floor, Central Phuket Mall. The opening ceremony was chaired by Mr. Rewat Areerob, President of the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization.
The event, held from July 24-28, 2024, was organized by the Phuket Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with network partners and supported by the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization’s budget.
Mr. Kongsak Khuphongsakorn, President of the Phuket Chamber of Commerce Association, welcomed the participants, including notable figures such as Mr. Thammawat Wongcharoenyot, President of the Sports Association of Phuket Province, Mr. Lertchai Wangtrakuldee, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Phuket Office, and the Director of the Subdistrict Health Promotion Hospital under the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization. Invited guests, dignitaries, and media representatives were also in attendance.
The event aims to connect Phuket to international trade under the theme “Connect Phuket to the world, Phuket International Trade Fair.” It seeks to create new opportunities for Phuket Province, developing it into a world-class event destination and distributing income across all levels of the province.
The fair also aims to build alliances in the product and service business sectors and raise awareness of Phuket as a center for health tourism, with standards comparable to the best in the world.
