Patong Tuk Tuk Driver Charged after Road Rage Incident

A Tuk Tuk taxi driver in Patong has been charged following a road rage incident.

The Patong Police informed the Phuket Express that a video clip of a Tuk Tuk driver arguing with a car driver went viral on social media over the past weekend. The incident occurred on Ratch Uthit 200 Pi Road.

On Sunday (July 21st), the Tuk Tuk driver, identified only as Mr. Jirayut, was summoned to the Patong Police Station. He admitted to the police that he had immediately taken over the car and parked on the left side before the argument began.

The Tuk Tuk driver has been charged with reckless driving, obstructing traffic, not wearing the proper uniform, and behaving in an improper manner.
