Karon, Thailand – A motorbike rider sustained injuries in a collision with a taxi in Karon. The incident occurred on Tuesday, July 16th, at 10:55 P.M.
Emergency responders swiftly arrived at the scene to find the female motorbike rider lying on the road. Her motorbike was nearby, and she was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
CCTV footage captured the incident and was shared on social media on Thursday, July 18th. The video shows a taxi car negotiating a curve, with part of the vehicle crossing into the opposite lane. The taxi collided with the motorbike, causing the rider to fall off the road. Three foreign pedestrians who were crossing the street rushed to her aid. However, it remains unclear whether the taxi driver stopped at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the incident as of press time. The names of those involved in the incident were not released by relevant authorities.
